Genevieve Reeves is a London-based multidisciplinary artist working across film, movement, and photography. With a background in contemporary dance, her practice explores the intersection of body and image; where movement becomes narrative and the camera acts as an extension of the performer.
Transitioning from dancer to image-maker opened new pathways to explore the language of movement through a cinematic lens. Her work treats the camera as an active participant in choreography, using rhythm, proximity, and light to expand how the body is seen and felt on screen.
Genevieve collaborates with leading music artists, choreographers, and dance companies to create movement-led visuals that span music videos, live performance, and tour documentation. Whether on stage, on screen, or on the road, her practice is rooted in embodied expression and the unspoken dialogue between artists - capturing moments where intimacy, rhythm, and image converge.
